Compass Communication Group was founded in 2023 and is a women-run boutique speech therapy group. We are small, mighty and dedicated to providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to the children we serve. We strive to make therapy fun for both therapist and student. Our ultimate goal is to help students graduate from speech therapy. Our practice is built on transparency and providing students and families with the best experience. We strategically partner with private schools that allow us to work closely with teachers and staff that value the expertise we bring and understand work-life balance.

We are looking to add another bright and passionate speech-language pathologist to support children at private schools in Chevy Chase and Silver Spring.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organization, and implement evidenced-based therapy sessions.
Manage a caseload of 10-14 students.
Work with the Founder to construct a schedule that works with your schedule and aligns with the school schedule.
Occasional completion of speech language screenings and evaluations
Evaluations are billed at higher rate (negotiated)
Support children in developing speech, language, and social communication skills through interactive activities and play-based therapy.
Monitor and document progress using our EMR system and data tracking to effectively communicate with parents.
Prepare materials and resources for therapy sessions and homework practice.

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland
At least one year of experience working with children in a therapeutic or educational setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Passion for helping children achieve their communication goals.

$1,000 sign-on bonus

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $64.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
