Job Description:

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Surgical Dental Assistants to join our dynamic team. As a Surgical Dental Assistant at Prescott Periodontics & Implant Dentistry, you will play a vital role in providing world-class patient experiences and supporting our dentists in delivering top-notch care. Your responsibilities will include preparing patients for procedures, assisting during surgeries, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a smooth workflow in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist dentists during periodontal and implant procedures

- Prepare examination rooms and dental instruments

- Provide patient care and comfort during treatment

- Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols

- Record patient information and treatment notes

- Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring they understand procedures and post-care instructions

- Assist in taking dental x-rays and impressions

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Dental Assistant experience preferred

- Previous experience in a dental office, preferably in periodontics or implant dentistry

- Excellent communication skills, with a caring and professional demeanor

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

- Ability type quickly

- Initiative, coachability and motivation to be a top performer
