Job Summary

Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning
Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, bone grafting, crown and bridge, Invisalign, implant restorative and/or implant placement a plus Complete and partial dentures and Root canal treatment.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and other dental professionals to provide comprehensive oral healthcare
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records systems in Opedental Not required
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment
Utilize medical imaging technology to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning (CEREC CAD/CAM) Machine. Not required
Conduct patient assessments including taking vital signs and reviewing medical history
Provide exceptional patient care with a focus on comfort and satisfaction

Skills:

Proficient in using electronic medical records systems such as Opendental Soft Software- Not required
Strong understanding of infection control protocols in a dental setting
Ability to accurately document medical information and maintain patient records
Familiarity with medical imaging technology used in dentistry
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and dental team members
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage patient appointments and treatment plans

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, ensuring high standards of patient comfort, safety, and treatment quality. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and techniques, including Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing oral health issues, developing treatment plans, and delivering exceptional patient care across various dental disciplines including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental implant procedures. Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology, infection control protocols, and HIPAA compliance.

Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments using dental imaging and clinical examinations to diagnose oral health conditions.
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontic restorations, and dental fabrication.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure all patient records comply with HIPAA regulations.
Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to prevent cross-contamination in the clinical environment.
Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery and uphold the practice’s standards of excellence.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry by participating in ongoing professional development activities.

Qualifications

Valid state dental license with eligibility to practice as an Associate Dentist.
Proficiency with dental software such as Open Dental preferred.
Demonstrated experience in general dentistry; additional expertise oral surgery, dental implant restorative endodontics, or prosthodontics is advantageous.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, anatomy, and medical imaging techniques.
Experience with root canal therapy, dental extractions, dental fabrication, and infection control practices.
Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and education.
Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
