Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Associate Dentist to join our 2-doctor vibrant dental team, either on a full-time basis or to provide maternity coverage, with the potential to stay after maternity leave is over. Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using dental terminology and medical imaging techniques
Deliver high-quality general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and prosthodontics procedures
Ideally, conduct oral surgeries, including dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and aseptic technique
Provide pediatric dentistry care tailored to young patients, ensuring comfort and effective treatment for pediatrics cases
Utilize Eaglesoft for charting, medical documentation, and managing electronic health records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Collaborate with the dental team to develop personalized treatment plans and educate patients on oral health maintenance
Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to all safety standards related to medical terminology, medical records management, and dental fabrication processes

Requirements

Valid dental license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction with current credentials
Proven experience in general dentistry practice within a dental clinic or office environment
Proficiency with dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is highly preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, infection control practices, and medical imaging techniques
Hands-on experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics; compassionate patient care skills essential
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of medical records and patient information
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in four-handed dentistry setups and maintain aseptic techniques during procedures
