Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for registering patients into dental software and HealthPro systems for appointment scheduling.

· Responsible for determining the status of the patient within the facility (i.e. existing patients etc.)

· Verify the patient's coverage or payment eligibility status.

· Answering phone and take messages daily.

· Responsible for confirming appointments before the scheduled visit.

· Generating and mailing dental claims, referrals, etc.

· Other duties will include special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

· Assist with obtaining prior authorizations.

Requirements

H.S. graduate or equivalent.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in dental practice or equivalent experience required.
Knowledge of ECW.
Bilingual required; Spanish preferred.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain working relationships with patients and co-workers.
Basic Computer Skills demonstrating specifically basic word skills, excel, and inter-office email systems.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
A high energy level, initiative, and a stickler for details.
Knowledge of Dental Billing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
