About Us:
Windward Smiles is a warm, community-oriented dental practice emphasizing minimally invasive dentistry, aloha service, and excellent patient care. We are seeking a Scheduling Coordinator who is friendly, organized, and cross-trained in both front and back office.

Position Summary:

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for patient communication, appointment flow, and office efficiency. The ideal candidate is reliable, positive, and capable of assisting the clinical team when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet patients, check in/out, manage phones, and maintain accurate records.
Schedule providers and hygiene efficiently to reduce gaps and optimize patient flow.
Confirm appointments, manage recall, and follow up on unscheduled treatment.
Check voicemails, text messaging, and emails.
Sort the daily mail.
Present treatment plans and answer patient questions.
Collect payments and process insurance copays.
Assist with sterilization, room turnover, seating patients, and limited back-office tasks when needed.
Support a positive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

Cross-trained in both front and back office.
Dental experience preferred (4+ year), but willing to train the right motivated candidate.
Strong phone skills, customer service mindset, and attention to detail.
Experience with Dentrix is a plus.

Compensation:

Hourly: $19–$23/hr (up to $24–$26/hr for highly experienced candidates).
Benefits: PTO, medical/dental/vision, employer retirement match (if applicable), CE, and staff dental benefits

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
