Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist/ Dental Assistant(X-ray Certified) to join our vibrant dental team. This role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring a seamless patient experience from appointment scheduling, insurance verification, assisting all clinical staff, and taking X-rays (CBCT, FMX and PA's). The ideal candidate will be energetic, hard-working, and passionate about providing exceptional patient care while maintaining efficient clinic operations. Certification in dental radiography is essential, as you will be responsible for capturing high-quality X-rays to aid in accurate diagnoses. Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and manage appointment scheduling using EMR Open Dental.
Prepare treatment rooms and help with Sterilization as needed.
Take dental X-rays following strict aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure patient safety
Record vital signs and medical history details accurately within electronic medical documentation systems, ensuring HIPAA compliance
Manage patient records, update medical and dental histories.
Educate patients on treatment plans, post-operative care, and dental terminology to promote understanding and compliance
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control standards and OSHA regulations

Requirements

Certification in dental radiography (X-ray certification) is mandatory
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant and Dental Receptionist in a general or specialty office.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
Ability to perform vital signs measurement, dental imaging, and chairside assisting efficiently
Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures in a dental clinic environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, insurance verification, and patient inquiries confidently.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
