Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by managing patient interactions and administrative tasks efficiently. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental terminology and office management practices.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental calendar effectively.
Handle patient inquiries via phone and in-person, demonstrating exceptional phone etiquette.
Maintain accurate patient records, including updating information in Dentrix or Carestack systems.
Process insurance claims and verify patient insurance coverage,
Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing as needed.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.

Skills

Proficient in office management practices with a strong understanding of dental terminology.
Experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role within a medical office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix or Carestack software is highly desirable.
Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse patient populations.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff alike.
