Position Overview

We are seeking a polished, reliable, and friendly Dental Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a busy front desk in a fast-paced NYC setting.

Key Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures
Answer and direct high-volume phone calls professionally
Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
Verify dental insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorizations
Process payments and discuss treatment estimates
Submit and follow up on insurance claims
Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

Minimum 1–2 years of dental front desk experience preferred
Strong understanding of dental insurance (PPO experience a plus)
Familiarity with Dentrix Ascend
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Strong multitasking and organizational skills
Experience working in a fast-paced Manhattan practice is a plus

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
