We are a small private office looking to grow by adding a full time assistant and a part time hygienist and receptionist. Willing to train receptionist.

We are a 1 doctor / 1 hygienist practice. We treat patients of all ages who love the warm, family atmosphere that we create. We are looking for an experienced, dental assistant with a x-ray license. This office only participates with PPO dental networks...we do not participate with DMO's, Medicare/Medicaid, etc. We are NOT CORPORATE. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Seat and welcome patients.
- Daily set up and end-of-day clean up.
- Take X-Rays / CBCT.
- Assist the Doctor with Operative/Surgical Procedures using proper 4-Handed Dentistry Techniques and ensuring proper tools and equipment are available.
- Manage sterilization adhering to proper OSHA techniques and regulations.
- Sterilization and prep clinical areas for the next patient.
- Assist the hygienist with prep/cleaning of clinical area and/or hygiene x-rays when available.
- Assist the front desk staff with clerical responsibilities when available.
- Perform weekly and monthly equipment maintenance.
- Maintain inventory and supply ordering within the allowed monthly budget.

- Lab case tracking and management.
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to support the dental team.
- Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and provide excellent customer service.

Summer Hours (Memorial Day - Labor Day)
* Monday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
* Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
* Wednesday: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
* Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
*Friday: CLOSED

Winter Hours (Labor Day - Memorial Day)
* Monday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
* Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
* Wednesday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM.
* Thursday: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
*Friday: 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM.

Salary based on experience, communication skills, flexibility, potential, knowledge of dentistry/oral surgery.

* $20 -$30 per hour.
* 40 hours PTO earned on accrual basis during 1st year of employment.
* 72 hours (2 weeks) PTO earned on accrual basis during the 2nd year of employment.
* 72 hours (2 weeks) per year PTO front-loaded on January 1 for the 3rd and subsequent years of employment.
* 50% match (up to $250 per month) with Medical Insurance is available.
* Safe Harbor Match 401(k) Plan after 1 year of employment (Employer will match up to 4% of your gross salary...100% Fully Vested).
