Job Summary
Millkey Way Pediatric Dentistry, Atlanta's boutique pediatric dental practice, is growing! We are now seeking a dynamic Dental Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our team of close knit professionals. In this essential role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and their parents, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment, ensuring smooth clinic operations and patient satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proficient with dental terminology and procedures as well as experience with Dentrix and Google Workspace. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to delivering outstanding dental care to children in the West Buckhead community.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using dental office management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verification
Familiarity with CDT coding
Schedule appointments accurately while managing multi-line phone systems and maintaining appointment calendars
Collect payments at time of service
Create and present accurate treatment plans.

Experience

Prior experience working as a Medical or Dental Receptionist in a clinical setting is required, with demonstrated proficiency in dental terminology and administrative support
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations, dental coding, insurance verification processes
Excellent computer skills including Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), along with experience managing multi-line phone systems and electronic scheduling tools
Exceptional phone etiquette, organizational skills, attention to detail in documentation review, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
