We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Financial Coordinator and Front office to join our vibrant dental practice team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients regarding financial matters, insurance processing, and billing inquiries. Responsibilities

Manage patient accounts by verifying insurance coverage, processing payments, and handling billing inquiries with enthusiasm and accuracy.
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility using systems such as Epic, Meditech, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Athenahealth to ensure seamless claim submissions.
Prepare and review documentation related to treatment plans, insurance claims, and patient financial agreements to ensure clarity and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits, co-pays, deductibles, and payment options while providing exceptional customer service.
Collaborate with dental staff to coordinate billing processes, including CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9 coding, and accurate medical/dental record documentation.
Follow up on unpaid claims through medical collection efforts and work diligently to resolve billing discrepancies or denials promptly.
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, insurance correspondence, and patient communications in accordance with health information management standards.

Skills

Extensive experience with medical billing, medical coding (CPT, ICD-10/ICD-9), and insurance verification within dental or healthcare settings.
Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex insurance details clearly; bilingual abilities are a plus.
Skilled in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), multi-line phone systems, and typing at least 10-key speed for efficient data entry.
Experience in dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and care plan documentation.
Proven ability to manage front desk operations such as appointment scheduling, patient intake procedures, filing medical records, and handling multi-tasking office duties.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and office management tasks in a fast-paced dental clinic environment. Pay: $23.82 - $28.68 per hour
