Join our dynamic dental team as an EXPERIENCED Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and welcoming demeanor will set the tone for an exceptional patient encounter. In this vital front-office role, you will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth clinic operations through efficient scheduling, accurate documentation, and outstanding customer service. Your expertise in dental insurance administration, blended with a high degree of familiarity of dental treatment planning /office systems will help create a positive environment for both patients and staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a moderately paced healthcare setting while making a meaningful difference in our patients’ oral health journeys. RDAs with significant front office skills seeking a transition to the front are HIGHLY encouraged to apply as occasional back office duties may be requested as in probing, minimal chairside assisting, and/or sterilization, charting.

Duties

Greet patients warmly, verify their appointment details, and manage check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and care
Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management software Eaglesoft ensuring optimal patient flow
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing accurately
Maintain and update patient records in electronic health records ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette; direct calls appropriately and take detailed messages when necessary
Assist with billing procedures
Manage filing dental charts while ensuring confidentiality and proper documentation review for compliance purposes
Send appointment reminders, and general clerical duties to keep the clinic running smoothly

Requirements

Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist within a dental clinic environment
Strong knowledge of dental terminology.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft platforms
Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10 key typing), and familiarity with office management software
Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a moderately paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times
