The Dentist is responsible for screening, triaging, and providing clinical and laboratory dental care and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide dental care to all age groups in accordance with State guidelines
Provide education, diagnostic, and therapeutic dental services to patients
Work closely with the staff and community dental care providers in providing primary dental care and making outside referrals
Share afterhours on-call responsibility with other providers
Familiar with using electronic health record (ex. Athena and NextGen)
Monitor, and where applicable, oversee relevant provider and care staff to ensure delivery of care
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Active Dentist License in Washington State (required)
Active DEA License or eligible (required)
Active CPR Certification (required)
Valid driver’s license (required)

Starting Salary: $141,000 Annually

Work Environment and Physical Demands

With multiple locations and settings, PCHS’ work environment and physical demands vary greatly depending on the employee’s role. Essential job functions include the following: The employee is required to talk, hear, see, smell, sit and stand. The employee is frequently required to move around the facility; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
