Do to a Medical issue with a staff member yesterday we are now seeking a dynamic and organized Dental Receptionist to join our vibrant PRIVATE dental practice! Not a" corporate dental center". FULL -TIME . PART-TIME may be available.

This can be for a temporary position (if desired) leading to full time Monday thru Thursday, NO Fridays or weekends. We are open to a “Temporary “or “per diem “employee at this time of need.

In this essential role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative duties. Duties

Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our dental practice management software of OPENDENTAL , similar to Eaglesoft or Dentrix dental.
VERIFY INSURANCE coverage and benefits, including most all PPO dental plans, ensuring accurate billing and claims submission. NO HMO OR CAPITATION plans. Collecting payments, process co-pays, and handling dental collections efficiently .
Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages.
Review documentation for accuracy.
Maintain organized filing systems for dental records and dental charts while ensuring confidentiality standards are upheld.
Assist and facilitate communication between patients and clinical staff (dental assistant) to support seamless clinic operations.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or Dental Receptionist in a private DENTAL office or healthcare setting.
Familiarity with dental terminology would be wonderful .
Proficiency in dental office management software such as OPENDENTAL or Dentrix experience is highly desirable.. Computer skills including Microsoft Office Word.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette.
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks.
3 years Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with INSURANCE VERIFICATION processes is advantageous.
