Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of medical administrative processes. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will serve as a vital link between patients and providers, ensuring smooth scheduling, accurate documentation, and effective care planning. Responsibilities

Act as the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Coordinate patient appointments, manage scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth, and optimize clinic flow.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and Medicaid, ensuring accurate billing and documentation review.
Assist with insurance authorization processes, including verification of CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) codes and ICD (International Classification of Diseases) coding for accurate medical billing.
Prepare and maintain detailed care plans, medical records, and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Support medical staff by managing phone etiquette, filing patient records, and performing clerical tasks such as data entry using Microsoft Office applications.
Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and insurance companies to streamline treatment plans and billing procedures.
Maintain proficiency in various EMR systems like eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms to ensure efficient documentation management.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical office management or clinical administrative support within a healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding standards, CPT coding, and medical billing procedures.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and care plan preparation.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and compassionate patient service.
Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly desirable; familiarity with dental terminology is a plus.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), multi-line phone systems, typing (including 10-key), and health information management software.
