Join a dynamic private dental practice as a Dental Associate working four days a week, dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. Duties

Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and medical/dental history review
Deliver a wide range of general dentistry treatments such as fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, and extractions
Conduct pediatric dentistry procedures with patience and expertise to ensure positive experiences for young patients
Utilize dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping
Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy
Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures
Take and interpret medical imaging, including X-rays, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
Educate patients on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote ongoing wellness

Skills

Proficiency in dental terminology and understanding of oral anatomy for precise diagnosis and treatment
Experience with dental fabrication processes and prosthodontics procedures to support restorative needs
Strong knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques within a dental clinic setting
Skilled in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, and other advanced procedures
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles to provide compassionate care for children and adolescents
Ability to navigate dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix effectively for documentation purposes
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate clearly
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice and understanding of medical records management
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and adhering to all regulatory guidelines
