Duties

Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software such as Eaglesoft
Manage patient intake forms, update electronic health records (EHR systems), and review documentation for accuracy and completeness
Maintain accurate dental records, including CPT coding, ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD coding, and care plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Assist with insurance verification, billing inquiries, and collection of outstanding balances through medical collection procedures
Support front desk operations by filing documents, managing office supplies, and coordinating appointment schedules to optimize clinic flow
Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette while handling inquiries related to medical records, appointments, or billing with professionalism

Experience

Prior experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred.
Knowledge of dental terminology and proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
Demonstrated ability to perform administrative support tasks such as filing, typing (including 10 key typing), and using Microsoft Office applications effectively
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly in a fast-paced setting
Bilingual abilities are advantageous to serve diverse patient populations effectively
