Position Summary:
The Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the patient experience by ensuring seamless front office operations, clear communication of treatment plans, and efficient scheduling and financial coordination. The ideal candidate is professional, compassionate, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in patients with courtesy and professionalism
Schedule and confirm appointments accurately
Verify dental insurance benefits and communicate coverage clearly to patients
Present treatment plans and financial options in a clear and respectful manner
Coordinate payment arrangements and collect co-payments or balances
Maintain and update patient records in the practice management software
Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure optimal workflow
Address patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and helpful manner
Able to use excel and work under pressure

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental office setting preferred
Proficient in dental terminology, procedures, and insurance verification
Familiarity with dental practice management software Open Dental
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Professional demeanor and excellent customer service abilities
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times
