About the Role

The Insurance & Financial Coordinator supports SmileHaus by managing insurance workflows, claims, patient balances, and financial operations. This role works closely with the leadership team and the RCM vendor.

What You’ll Do

Review insurance verifications

Perform urgent same‑day verifications

Manage problem claims, denials, and appeals

Track aging reports

Post third‑party financing payments

Reconcile financing statements

Manage patient balances professionally

Prepare daily EOD reports

Respond to insurance/financial inbox questions

Calculate the monthly supply budget

Support OR/IV case benefit and authorization checks

Skills We’re Looking For

Strong knowledge of dental insurance

High accuracy and attention to detail

Warm, professional communication

Ability to troubleshoot claim issues

Reliability and strong follow‑through

Education & Experience

High school diploma required

Dental/medical billing experience preferred

CareStack or similar software experience is a plus
