EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role combines clinical support with front desk responsibilities, ensuring smooth operations within a busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental and administrative procedures. You will be instrumental in providing exceptional patient service, managing appointments, and supporting clinical staff to deliver high-quality dental care.

Duties

Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and facilitate patient intake processes with professionalism and efficiency.
Schedule appointments using Eaglesoft software.
Assist dental providers during procedures by preparing treatment rooms and handling necessary instruments and materials.
Perform insurance verification, process claims, and follow up on outstanding payments.
Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to address patient inquiries and coordinate appointment scheduling.
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the operatory rooms clean and well stocked

Skills

Proven experience as a dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
Positive attitude and a team player
X-ray certified

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
