We are a family dental office in DC looking for a friendly dental hygienist to be part of our awesome team. We provide comprehensive care to our patients and treat our staff and patients as family. We are not corporate.

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Provide oral health education and counseling to patients
- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical documentation systems
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment
- Conduct patient assessments, including oral health screenings and evaluations

Qualifications:
- Valid dental hygiene license in Washington, DC

- Experience with Open Dental or similar dental practice management software
- Familiarity with dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control systems and aseptic technique
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
