Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong understanding of general dentistry practices, excellent patient assessment skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. The Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating various dental conditions while adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and examinations to determine oral health status.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Perform a variety of dental procedures, including preventive care, restorative work, oral surgery, and emergency treatments.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education and training.

Skills

Proficiency in dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to the field.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Strong knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
Ability to perform oral surgery procedures as needed.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and education.
Strong attention to detail for accurate patient assessment and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
