Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Front Office - Dental Receptionist to join our dental team. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our clinic, responsible for managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, helping with insurance and ensuring smooth administrative operations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a positive experience for every patient while supporting the clinical team with essential administrative tasks. Cross trained for dental assisting and bilingual (English,Spanish) are both desirable though not required.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and professionally, establishing a friendly and welcoming environment (People skills are highly valued)
Schedule appointments efficiently using Dentrix
Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verifications accurately
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date
Handle multi-line phone systems with solid phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times
Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing office supplies
Collaborate with clinical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and accurate documentation of care plans
