Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Admission Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in guiding prospective clients and their families through the admissions process with empathy, professionalism, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and referral sources
Conduct intake screenings and assess client eligibility for services
Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to clients and families
Coordinate admissions and ensure all required documentation is completed
Maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies and regulations
Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth client transitions
Provide exceptional customer service while handling sensitive situations

Qualifications:

Previous experience in admissions, healthcare coordination, or a related field preferred
Knowledge of behavioral health or substance use treatment is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills
