Job Summary
We are actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure comprehensive care.
Assist with dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.
Capture and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper positioning and safety protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
Maintain strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization of instruments.
Document treatment procedures accurately within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring patient safety during dental visits while adhering to HIPAA regulations for confidentiality.

Requirements

Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably within general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments.
Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation and record-keeping.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is highly desirable for working with young patients.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately across diverse populations.
Ability to perform chairside assisting duties including medical imaging, documentation review, and dental assisting tasks.
