About the Role

Are you a dental front office professional who thrives on independence and takes pride in "owning" the front desk? We are a high-quality, 2-op general dentistry practice looking for a reliable, self-sufficient Front Office Administrator to manage our daily operations.

Because our Office Manager is off-site part-time, we need a true professional who doesn't need to be micromanaged. You will have full support and training, but once you are up to speed, you will be the solo pilot of our front office.

The Flow of Our Office

We value quality over quantity. We utilize Dentrix and run a single-column schedule with no double-booking. Because our Doctor and Assistant handle all hygiene, the schedule is seamless and predictable—allowing you to focus on providing extraordinary service and staying on top of your administrative tasks without the chaos of a high-volume clinic.

Key Responsibilities

This is a comprehensive role encompassing all front office duties:

Schedule Management: Coordinating hygiene and treatment appointments.
Financial Oversight: Verifying insurance benefits, presenting treatment plans with confidence, and collecting/posting co-payments.
Insurance Specialist: Submitting claims/pre-authorizations and accurately posting payments.
Communication: Managing calls, emails, appointment confirmations, and recall reactivation.
General Operations: Independent handling of all day-to-day front office tasks.

Requirements & Schedule (Non-Negotiable)

We are looking for a "rock" for our team—someone whose reliability is their strongest trait.

Experience: At least 1 year of dental front office experience (Dentrix knowledge is a major plus).
Independence: Ability to work alone and solve problems proactively.
Weekend Availability: Working weekends is a requirement for this position. We typically close one (and occasionally two) weekends per month, but otherwise, weekend shifts are a core part of the schedule.

Tues, Thurs, Fri: 9am 6pm

Sat: 8am - 4pm (Paid lunch break)

Sun: 8am - 1pm

Mon/Wed: OFF

* 1 Weekend off every month guaranteed, and sometimes 2*
