Intake Director (Healthcare Operations / Sales Leadership)

Compensation: $115,000–$130,000 + Bonus

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving client intake performance, optimizing conversion strategy, and leading a team that connects families to critical care services. You’ll play a key role in scaling our center-based and in-home programs by ensuring strong referral pipelines, high conversion rates, and exceptional client experiences.

How You’ll Help Create a World Without Limits:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Intake Coordinators and Specialists (10–12 direct reports)
Own and drive intake performance, including lead conversion, response time, and KPI achievement
Develop and execute strategies to increase referral volume and improve conversion rates
Serve as a key leader in payor relations, including presentations, reporting, and partnership management
Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners (diagnosticians, pediatricians, healthcare providers)
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Scheduling, Clinical, and Business Development teams
Oversee intake processes to ensure efficiency, compliance, and high-quality client experience
Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for growth
Act as an escalation point for complex intake or lead issues
Play a critical role in filling ABA center capacity and supporting company-wide expansion goals

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required
5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, intake, or revenue cycle management
3+ years of experience managing teams (10+ direct reports preferred)
Proven success in driving KPIs, conversion metrics, and operational performance
Strong knowledge of healthcare funding sources, payors, and referral processes
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in ABA therapy, behavioral health, or pediatric healthcare
Experience in managing call center operations high preferred
Background in sales, client acquisition, or intake conversion strategy
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Strong experience working with referral networks and provider partnerships
