```Overview```
We are a private, boutique style, family oriented orthodontic office that has been serving the local community for 60 years. We are looking for a responsible, upbeat individual to join our work family. We pride ourselves on our professional and courteous work environment.

```Duties```
- We generally see 40 - 55 patients per day and you would be responsible for the care of your own scheduled column of 11-15 patients.

Assist the orthodontist chairside:

-Use high speed to remove bonding material

- Bonding Invisalign attachments

- Bonding and banding fixed appliances

- Insert and remove / untie and tie-in archwires

- Delivering retainers

- Intraoral scanning (iTero)

- Taking Panoramic and CBCT x-rays

- Dental photography

- Sterilization and maintenance of instruments and equipment

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques

- Perform receptionist duties if needed including scheduling appointments

```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications:

-Registered Dental assistant in Washington State

-Previous experience in chairside orthodontic assistanting

- Previous experience working in dental or orthodontic software systems, such Ortho 2 Edge
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Familiarity with orthodontic terminology and dental anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and procedures
