Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Receptionist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental administrative support and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills. As a Dental Front Office, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing excellent patient service, and maintaining accurate dental records. The ideal candidate also has back office experience that would allow them to help out assisting and sterilization when needed. Prior experience and knowledge in dentistry is required to apply (2+ years). Please read all job requirements before applying.

Duties

Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and answering multi-line phone systems.
Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of all information.
Assist with insurance verification and dental billing processes.
Support the dental team by preparing treatment rooms, perio charting, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures as needed.
Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, ensuring that all necessary information is collected for patient care plans.
Handle dental collections and follow up on outstanding accounts while providing excellent customer service to patients.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive office experience that fosters patient satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting, demonstrating familiarity with dental terminology and procedures. 2+years experience
Strong knowledge of dental coding and billing practices.
Ability to write up and present a treatment plan to a patient.
Verifying insurance eligibility and benefits.
Making and confirming patient appointments
Experience with Softdent is a plus.
Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and typing skills.
Bilingual abilities are advantageous to enhance communication with diverse patient populations.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with patients.
Position is for Mondays and possibly alternating Saturdays.
