The Dental Office Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. This position is responsible for overseeing daily administrative functions, managing staff, and maintaining a high level of patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office management, with experience in dental environments preferred. The Dental Office Manager will work closely with the dental team to enhance patient experience and streamline office processes.

Duties

Oversee daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Manage scheduling, patient records, and billing processes using Dentrix or similar dental software.
Supervise and train office staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and ensure proper handling of medical terminology.
Implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Coordinate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care and treatment plans.
Handle patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

Skills

Proven experience in medical office management or similar roles within healthcare settings.
Familiarity with Dentrix software is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare management.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Experience in critical care or acute care settings is a plus but not required.
