As a Dental Assistant at Complete Dental, you will be an integral part of our dental team, assisting with various procedures and ensuring a smooth workflow in our clinic. This role is vital in enhancing patient experiences and supporting our mission of delivering high-quality dental care. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK UNTIL 7PM.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
Manage patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support front office staff with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as needed.
Conduct preliminary assessments of patients' dental health and prepare them for treatment.
Assist in the management of inventory for dental supplies and equipment.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
Knowledge of general dentistry, and infection control practices is essential.
Familiarity with medical documentation and coding is beneficial but not required.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic computer skills for managing patient records and scheduling.
