We operate across three locations in South Ogden, Farr West, and Morgan, allowing us to serve a wide and growing patient community.

Duties

Assist orthodontists during procedures such as bracket placement, wire adjustments, and appliance installations with precision and efficiency
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary tools, and ensuring all equipment is in optimal condition following infection control protocols
Take dental X-rays and intraoral scans
Manage patient records to ensure complete and compliant documentation
Educate patients on orthodontic care instructions, appliance maintenance, and oral hygiene practices tailored to pediatric dentistry needs
Monitor vital signs and assist with medical documentation for patients requiring medical history updates or special considerations
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phone inquiries as a dental receptionist, and maintaining organized medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience

Previous experience working in an orthodontic clinic is required
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment
Hands-on experience with chairside assisting including four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during procedures
Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other medical imaging tools confidently
Strong understanding of pediatric dentistry principles and the unique needs of pediatric patients in orthodontic care
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and educate patients about their treatment plans
