Responsibilities

Assist dentists during procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental X-rays using digital imaging technology like 3D scanners and medical imaging tools while maintaining patient safety standards.
Manage patient records efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems ensuring accuracy in medical documentation and medical coding.
Greet patients warmly at the front desk; verify insurance details; schedule appointments; and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.

Qualifications

Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
Proficiency in dental assisting skills
Strong organizational skills to manage front desk responsibilities efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
Knowledge of dental specialties including endodontics and general dentistry practices is a plus.
Certification in X-ray technology or equivalent training preferred.

Hours

Monday through Thursday 8:30am-5pm
Every Friday off and off all major holidays

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
