Boutique Orthodontic office in Queen Anne looking for an experienced Ortho Assistant who has front office experience. This position is part-time with some flexiblity of days, however Wednesdays are required. Patient schedules vary between 8-5:30.

Must have current RDA and BLS.

The position would be a hybrid assisting/front office position. Some days a second assistant will be in office. Ablity to multi-task necessary!! In-office days will be 2-3 days per week (some days are not full days with patients) and remote access additionally required for out of office days to check emails and respond in a timely manner. Total hours ranging from 15-25/week

Role Requirements and Responsibilities

We're looking for a skilled professional who can contribute to our team's success. The ideal candidate will have strong technical abilities, excellent patient communication skills, and the capacity to work independently while supporting team objectives. Prefer at least 1 year of Ortho Assisting and competency with photos; impressions; i-Tero scan; traditional braces as well as Invisalign. Additional experience with front office responsiblities including financial proposals and contracts; insurance verification and submissions; billing and scheduling.

Daily Duties include, but not limited to:

Verifiying daily schedule is correct; pulling charts; setting up operatories with appropriate instruments; proper handling and sterilization of instruments as well as sterilization and infection control documents; answering phones; replying to emails; seating patients and getting them ready for the doctor; proper cleanliness of whole office and reception area; promt and accurate email coorespondence; up to date insurance submissions and follow-up on payments.
