Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Maintain a sterile environment
- Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical history accurately
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

-Perform periodontal therapies as allowed with license

Skills:
- Proficient in dental office software systems, such as Dentrix
- Knowledge of insurance a plus
- Experience working with pediatric patients and providing specialized care
- Familiarity with dental records
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral health practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity for performing dental procedures accurately

Pay: $68,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
