LIC Dental Associates is a private, boutique fee-for-service (FFS) dental practice located in beautiful Long Island City. For over 10 years, we’ve proudly served the LIC community with a focus on exceptional care, discretion, and personalized dentistry. Our highly specialized team includes 6 doctors (3 specialists and 3 general dentists), all working together to deliver outstanding clinical and patient experiences.

We're hiring an experienced Dental Front Desk Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator to be the first face our patients see and a key part of the practice's day-to-day success. What you'll do

- Greet and welcome patients on arrival, and escort them to treatment rooms as needed

- Manage all check-in and check-out, including payment collection

- Schedule and manage appointments online and by phone

- Present treatment plans and discuss financial options confidentially

- Verify payment methods and handle credit card information securely

- Educate patients about our practice, services, and amenities

- Handle insurance verification, claims follow-up, and third-party financing (e.g., CareCredit)

- Respond to patient questions and concerns professionally and promptly

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental front desk or treatment coordinator role

- Familiarity with dental terminology, insurance plans, and CDT codes

- Experience with insurance verification and basic claims processing

- A friendly, professional, patient-focused demeanor and a strong customer-service background

- Excellent organizational skills and genuine attention to detail

- The ability to build and maintain systems (filing, patient flow, scheduling)
