We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team! Duties

Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures including restorative, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient care.
Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced imaging technology such as 3D scanners and dental x-ray machines while adhering to infection prevention management protocols.
Manage patient records accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies.
Provide chairside assistance by handling dental instruments with aseptic technique and four-handed dentistry practices to optimize procedure efficiency.
Monitor vital signs and assist in medical documentation for patients requiring medical history updates or medical coding.
Educate patients on oral health care, post-treatment instructions, and preventive practices to promote long-term dental wellness.

Skills

Proficiency with EMR systems including Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or similar patient management software.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures across general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.
Experience with dental sterilization procedures and infection control standards to maintain a safe clinical environment.
Skilled in dental instrument processing, sterilization techniques, and infection prevention management.
Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and other diagnostic tools effectively.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices including medical records management and medical coding.
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with patients as a dental receptionist when needed and provide outstanding patient care.
