Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and various dental procedures. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Utilize Eaglesoft and Dentrix software for patient documentation and record management.
Perform vital signs checks and assist with medical imaging as required.
Ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic.
Maintain knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients.
Review medical records and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options in general dentistry.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and improve clinic operations.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dental office or clinic setting, with familiarity in both general dentistry and pediatric dentistry preferred.
Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge related to oral health.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively while demonstrating excellent patient care skills.
Knowledge of dental coding is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with patients and team members.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
