Looking to hire full time Registered Dental Assistant to join our team (ASAP) and a Front Desk Coordinator. Ideal front desk candidate MUST have at least 1 year of prior dental experience needed. RDA candidate Must have Nitrous license, coronal polishing and be able to scan digital using medit. Knowledgeable with OPEN DENTAL software is a plus. To be considered for this position, you MUST be bilingual (English and Spanish). Must be competent to assist in BOTH pedo and adult treatment.

Job Description/Responsibilities:

Assist doctor with strong chairside assistance, thinking ahead for what is needed.
Take, develop, and mount X-rays.
Take impressions of dentures for dental appliances.
Perform procedures to compile with infection control policies and prepare operatories for patient treatment.
Accurately and completely report and document status, care rendered, response to care, provider orders, contacts with patient and/or other healthcare providers.
Maintain patient follow up procedures.
Assist front desk staff when needed.
Complete all direct and indirect care documentation in a timely manner and ensure patient records are current and complete.
Attend daily patient care huddles and periodic informational huddles, meetings, patient conferences, or planning sessions.
Maintain all licensure and/or certification requirements for continuing education and best practices.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Current RDA
Nitrous License
Coronal polishing
2+ years dental assisting in fast pace pedo office
Experience with OpenDental software
Plus if you have experience in front office and/or treatment coordinating

Languages:

Both English + Spanish
Strong verbal and written communication skills
