Busy Orthodontic office seeks energetic personable assistant to join our team. Candidate must have good communication skills, be detail oriented, and be self motivated. Experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Duties:

- Assist orthodontist during patient examinations and treatments
- Take digital dental x-rays and photos
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and care instructions
- Take impressions and create molds of patients' teeth
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charting
- Assist with patient scheduling and appointment coordination

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or orthodontic assistant certification
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, techniques, and instruments
- Experience working with children
- Proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
