We’re looking for a motivated Dental Therapist or Advanced Dental Therapist to join our team at True North Community Dental Clinic in Shakopee.

We recently completed a major remodel and expansion, and our clinic is now a state-of-the-art, modern clinical space designed to support efficient, high-quality patient care and allow our providers to work at the top of their abilities.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to grow into a highly productive provider role in a clean, modern, fun community clinic.

The position is designed to be flexible based on the provider’s experience, goals, and clinical development. A typical schedule could be:

2 days assisted hygiene / 2 days DT or ADT restorative care

At least one assisted-hygiene day per week would be required as part of the position.

There may also be an opportunity to work a fifth clinical day as an additional assisted-hygiene day when staffing and patient demand allow.

On the hygiene side, you would work in an assisted-hygiene model using two columns with clinical assistant support, allowing you to see a strong patient flow while still providing high-quality care. Those patients also create a natural pipeline for restorative treatment that falls within your DT/ADT scope.

Compensation would be production-based generated through both your dental therapy work and your assisted-hygiene production.

For the right provider, we believe this position has realistic earning potential in the $140,000–$180,000+ range as your speed, patient volume, and restorative skills develop.

If you are currently a DT and working toward ADT certification, we can help create a pathway for you to build your required clinical experience, including indirect supervision and development of the appropriate collaborative management agreement.

We want this to be much more than a job. We want to create an environment where a driven DT/ADT can become extremely capable, efficient, and productive without being held back by lack of patient volume, limited chair access, or inadequate clinical support. You would have:

Two-column assisted hygiene support
Strong patient volume
Access to an in-house dentist for cases outside your scope
A newly remodeled, state-of-the-art clinical environment
CE allowance
Uniform allowance
401(k)
Health insurance is not offered.

If you’re a growth-minded provider who wants autonomy, mentorship when you need it, plenty of patients, and the opportunity to see how productive you can become as a DT or ADT, we’d love to talk.
