TruGLO Modern Dental is seeking a highly experienced, motivated, and dependable Dental Office Manager to help lead and grow our beautiful new La Jolla location.

TruGLO is a modern, patient-centered dental group known for combining advanced dental technology, exceptional clinical care, and a luxury patient experience.

As we establish and grow our La Jolla practice, we are looking for an individual who brings more than just front office experience. We need a confident leader who understands the business of dentistry, takes initiative, can manage a team effectively, and is excited to play a key role in the success of a growing practice.

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking someone with extensive dental management experience, particularly in insurance billing, collections, treatment presentation, and patient financial coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Dental Billing & Financial Management

Demonstrate extensive knowledge of dental insurance, PPO plans, benefits verification, claim submissions, EOBs, and insurance follow-up.
Accurately manage patient billing, accounts receivable, collections, and outstanding insurance claims.
Understand dental coding, insurance limitations, preauthorizations, and treatment estimates.
Maintain organized financial systems and ensure timely collections.

Treatment Coordination & Case Acceptance

Confidently present comprehensive dental treatment plans and explain financial options to patients.
Help patients understand the value and importance of recommended treatment while maintaining a compassionate, educational approach.
Coordinate financial arrangements, payment plans, and treatment scheduling.
Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help improve case acceptance.
Have experience coordinating high-value dental treatments, including cosmetic dentistry, implants, Invisalign, and full-mouth rehabilitation.

Leadership & Practice Management

Lead, motivate, and hold the front office team accountable to high standards of performance.
Oversee daily scheduling, patient flow, front office operations, and team communication.
Ensure an exceptional patient experience from the first phone call through treatment completion.
Monitor practice performance, including collections, production, scheduling efficiency, and treatment conversion.
Establish efficient workflows and help develop systems that support long-term growth.
Work collaboratively with doctors, clinical staff, and leadership to achieve practice goals.

Qualifications

Minimum 3–5 years of dental office management or senior treatment coordination experience preferred.
Strong, hands-on knowledge of dental billing, insurance claims, collections, and accounts receivable.
Proven ability to present complex treatment plans and improve case acceptance.
Experience managing and developing a dental team.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor.
Reliable, punctual, accountable, and comfortable taking initiative.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental environment.
Comfortable working in a startup practice where building systems, developing a team, and contributing to growth are essential.

Most importantly, we want someone who takes ownership. Someone who sees an opportunity to improve the practice and acts on it, supports their team, follows through on responsibilities, and genuinely cares about the success of the office.

Why Join TruGLO?

This is an opportunity to become an integral part of a growing dental brand and help shape the future of our La Jolla location.
