Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Prepare treatment rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using EMR systems such as Open Dental.
Perform chairside assisting duties, including passing instruments and materials to the dentist as needed.
Monitor vital signs and assist with medical imaging when required.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients.
Collaborate with the dental receptionist to manage appointment scheduling and patient flow.

Requirements

Experience not necessary. Will train.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records and clinic operations.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and their families.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
