Job Summary
Our established and busy office in Brownsville is looking for a highly qualified Dental Office Manager to lead our team. The position requires at least 5 years of dental experience, attention to detail, self-motivation, positive thinking, teamwork skills, critical thinking, and problem solving. Ideal candidates have experience with insurance verification, submitting claims, billing, AR collections, and marketing. We offer competitive pay, bonus, and incentives.
An Officer Manager is a liaison between the staff and the Owner Dentist. They are responsible for administering the day-to-day activities of the business office, including patient and employee relations, staff interviewing/dismissal, patient recruitment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and staff training and motivation.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Influencer (active listener/observer of behavior; builds trust with those requiring coaching; creates a win/win need for change; tailors coaching style to the individual’s needs; recognizes and celebrates improvement to sustain change)
- Requires knowledge of Dental Plans, fees, general plan design, administrative guidelines, limitations and exclusions, reporting systems.
- Manage day-to-day operations of the dental office, including all front desk and call center duties
- Manage and direct staff assignments and activities, following office policies and applicable laws
- Manage compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations
- Know and follow the dental office contingency plan
- Stay current with trends, legislation, and regulations in the dental profession
- Manage patient financial accounts
- Manage the hiring and ongoing performance of staff
- Manage and update office computer systems

Requirements:
· The Assistant Office Manager needs to possess a fantastic personality, a positive attitude, and be a quick-learner and detail-oriented.

· Familiarity with dental procedures, their benefits and risks.
· Ability to explain complex concepts to patients and employees.

Understanding of basic math, accounting, and budgeting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 42 per week
