Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. As a Dentist, you will perform a variety of dental procedures, including assessments, treatments, and preventive care for patients of all ages. Your expertise in general dentistry, along with experience in pediatric dentistry, will be essential in delivering comprehensive care to our diverse patient base.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine dental health and treatment needs.
- Perform a range of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns, and root canals.
- Utilize Dentrix or Eaglesoft software for patient record management and treatment planning.
- Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to provide efficient patient care.
- Stay updated with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Proficiency in general dentistry practices; experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred.
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and ensuring patient satisfaction.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $235,139.00 - $255,436.00 per year
