Cute, friendly and fun practice seeking a registered dental hygienist to grow and evolve with us! Looking for applicants that are dependable, team players, and looking for their "home" office with a great atmosphere and team!

We have a Monday through Friday work week with a scheduled hour-long lunch break! This position is for a hygienist full time 4-5 days a week, Monday through Friday 8AM to 5PM. Employee discount, fun, professional staff!!

Hygiene degree REQUIRED. No experience required, but preferred. Wage dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize and store dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries, and periodontitis
Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques)
Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures
Take X-rays and dental impressions when necessary
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer)
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
Monitor supplies
Reschedule hygiene patients by text/phone call if necessary
Schedule recall appointments
