Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and DETAIL-ORIENTED dental insurance coordinator to join our team. Pay range will depend on experience. Interview will be insurance specific, but we also need someone to be our secondary reception position. Our patients are family and friends to us, so we are looking for someone who is gracious while dealing with the public. This position will require managing patient records, verifying insurance, and maintaining compliance with medical regulations. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and coding, as well as experience in a dental office environment. The current person in this position will still be working in the office, and is willing to train someone with some insurance experience, but only if that person is very knowledgeable about dentistry. This would be a good position for someone who has previously been an assistant with several years of experience. THIS POSITION REQUIRES EXTREME ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND CRITICAL THINKING. Dental insurance seems to be more suited to people who like puzzles and challenges.
