We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations at the front desk of our dental or medical office, managing patient interactions, and supporting office management tasks.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule and confirm appointments using Open Dental.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate data entry in the system.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally, providing information about services offered.
- Verify patient insurance eligibility.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Assist with medical billing tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and address any concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist in a dental or medical office is preferred.
- Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus; experience with other medical office management systems will be considered.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and billing processes is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a busy environment.
- Proficiency in handling sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- A positive demeanor and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $15.00 - $99.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
