We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our office. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our practice. Familiarity with dental software such as Eaglesoft and knowledge of medical documentation and coding are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
- Take and develop X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for dental procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
- Support pediatric dentistry efforts by creating a welcoming atmosphere for young patients.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a dental clinic is preferred.
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental management systems is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical documentation, coding, and HIPAA compliance is essential.
- Familiarity with general dentistry practices as well as pediatric dentistry is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
